How Now, Dow Jones is a musical comedy by Elmer Bernstein, Carolyn Leigh and Max Shulman. It is set in Wall Street and features Anthony Roberts as a business failure who strikes it big on Wall Street, Brenda Vaccaro as a financial-district tour guide, Marilyn Mason as Kate who announces the Dow Jones numbers and Hiram Sherman as a crusty broker. It follows Kate and her fiancé, who will not marry her until the Dow Jones Industrial Average hits 1,000.
