Based on the film of 1954 starring Danny Kaye, Hans Andersen is a musical about the life of the famous Danish poet and story-teller Hans Christian Andersen. It was rewritten for the stage by Beverley Cross with Tommy Steele, music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, and additional songs by Marvin Laird.
