Nana Mouskouri hosted her own long-running BBC TV series and became an international star, releasing an estimated 450 albums in over 13 languages. The BBC shows typically contained a mix of contemporary British, American and French pop, folk and classical music, as well as Greek songs, and would feature European and world music stars as guests, making it one of the first BBC TV series to do so regularly.
