Pauline Grant directed and choreographed the pantomime from her own book of Puss in Boots and co-produced the show with Samuel (S.H) Newsome.
Cast included: Eric Morecambe & Ernie Wise, Harry Secombe, Julia Sutton, Janie Marden, Terry Kendall, Herbert Hare and Tony Sympson
Gillian Lynne played the part of Puss in Boots.
Gillian would go on to work with Harry Secombe on Pickwick on the Broadway production in 1965, the subsequent BBC TV film production in 1969, the later UK Stage Tour in 1993-94, and various episodes of his TV series.
